Serve Columbus is one of our largest outreaches of the year, giving us an open door to make a real difference in our city. This is an incredible opportunity to step beyond our four walls and serve our community for its good and God’s glory.

On May 2, our entire church will come together as one unified serve team, heading out across Columbus to take on projects in three key areas:

Local Schools

  •  General campus clean-up

  •  Install sensory wall elements for students with special needs

  •  Improve and restore baseball field recreation areas

  •  Organize storage areas and clothing closets

  •  Landscaping and outdoor beautification

  •  Prepare care baskets for faculty and staff

Care Facilities

  •  Worship with residents

  •  Lead hands-on crafts and activities

  •  Facilitate bingo

  •  Serve snacks

  •  Spend time visiting and praying with residents

  •  Prepare care baskets for residents

MAPS | Local

  •  Provide household repairs for elderly individuals and families in need

  •  Support FAM Closet projects, serving local foster care families with clothing and essential items

Whether you are a young adult, looking to serve alongside your kids as a family, have limited mobility, or are a skilled laborer - everyone can be part of what God is doing in our city through Serve Columbus!

MAY 2

2026

  • I love Serve Columbus because it gives us a chance to be the hands and feet of Jesus by creating spaces for those outside the walls of the church.

    —Jeanine Evans

  • I had a blast at Serve Columbus last year. I worked alongside my husband Doug to build an outdoor classroom at Gentian Elementary. Through this we met another couple The Hagman’s that we would not have met otherwise since we attend different services. The best thing — Pastor Paul taught me the proper way to use post hole diggers!!! I call that winning the day!!!!

    —Michelle Fields

  • I love watching our community come together, take a day we wouldn’t normally gather, and work with our hands to better the city we live in!

    —Brandon Morris

  • There’s something special about coming together with people you might never otherwise work with towards one goal that truly impacts others’ lives. It was an amazing experience that inspired me to serve my community more and step out of my comfort zone to help others.
